We were presented this award for our achievement in developing our understanding about Autism and Social communication difficulties in order that we as a Pre-school become an Autism friendly setting. Many of the strategies involved in supporting children with Autism are equally beneficial to all children and so this award recognises the very inclusive and supportive practice for which Roxwell Pre-school is recognised for in mid Essex!
Both Sue Young and Elizabeth Lester (both managers of the Pre-school SEN/SEN teams for mid and West Essex) said

Roxwell Pre-school was the first setting in the Chelmsford area to achieve this award and we were thrilled!
