April Little
At the very heart of our pre-school is our manager, April, whose warmth, knowledge, and genuine affection for every child truly shape the loving atmosphere we cherish. With her Diploma in childcare qualification, SEND training, first aid certification, and role as our designated safeguarding lead, she brings more than 25 years of heartfelt dedication and expertise to our little community.
Her recognisable Scottish tones and instinctive passion for nurturing young minds are a daily reassurance for children, parents, and colleagues alike.
She sees each child as a precious individual, brimming with promise, and delights in getting to know every little personality. Her infectious joy—her signature “Hooray!” echoing through our hall—reminds us all to celebrate every tiny triumph, every giggle, and every moment of discovery. She leads with love, creating a place where all children are truly seen, cherished, and encouraged to shine.

We are delighted to introduce a staff member whose wealth of experience and commitment make her the cherished “nana” of our group.
With childcare qualifications, safeguarding training, and first aid certification, her attained knowledge ensures that every aspect of our pre-school day is underpinned by robust safety measures, allowing each child to feel protected, secure, and well cared for.
Having devoted 15 years to nurturing young minds, her gentle nature and steadfast loyalty create an atmosphere of genuine comfort and reassurance. She instinctively provides the children with a sense of safety, embracing each little one with warmth and kindness, and helping them to feel truly cared for as they grow and explore.
She takes great pride in enriching our environment with inviting, imaginative role play corners.
From a bustling home corner brimming with miniature kitchenware, a makeshift campsite, a pretend shop, or a miniature post office, she lovingly creates a variety of enticing spaces where little imaginations can run wild. Whether children are donning dressing up costumes, serving tea to friends, or exploring a make-believe campsite, she encourages every child to explore, dream, and delight in discovering new worlds through play. Her dedication helps each little one to feel truly cared for as they grow, learn, and flourish together.
Charlie Moody
We are pleased to welcome our newest team member who holds a Level 3 childcare qualification, is SEND trained, first aid qualified, and knowledgeable in safeguarding.
Charlie joined our team just over a year ago and has quickly become a beloved presence within our pre-school. As a young and enthusiastic practitioner, Charlie brings a fresh perspective and boundless energy to our setting.
Her kind-hearted approach and genuine eagerness to learn are evident in every interaction, making her a wonderful role model for both children and colleagues alike.
Charlie’s willingness to embrace new challenges, coupled with her caring nature, ensures she is always ready to lend a helping hand and support each child’s journey.
